Her goal is to share her craft and provide creative experiences to her target audience. Additionally, to get the word out, she has already developed a comprehensive plan. First and foremost, she plans to make presentations at craft shows, open-air markets, senior centers, afterschool programs, parent groups, and more. Furthermore, in addition to her existing pre-fired pottery, glazes, supplies, and idea books, she will add additional work tables for hand building pottery and glazing as well as pottery wheels for thrown pottery. Moreover, the addition of two more quality kilns will allow her to handle the influx of new clients who want to learn the pottery process from start to finish. Consequently, with these strategic moves, she aims to grow her business successfully.

Tinley has been using only a portion of her existing space; however, the unused portion is already finished and ready for equipment to be installed. She has priced out top-of-the-line kilns, work tables, storage, and 15 pottery wheels. Her cost estimate is $150,000. Additionally, as she priced the needed pottery equipment, she also researched loan options. After reviewing the rates and timelines of short-term loans, she found equipment financing. She also considered long-term loans in her evaluation. Moreover, she hadn’t heard of it before. After researching equipment financing, she realized it was the best option for her business.

With it, she was able to lease the needed equipment to start, make additions or adjustments as needed, and purchase the equipment outright at the end of the term. Additionally, Tinley believed she could attract many new clients, including those who would enjoy learning her craft through classes. Furthermore, she also believed she could attract those who would enjoy attending pottery parties with friends. Consequently, she submitted her financial statements and her latest credit score and was approved quickly.

Securing the needed funds, subsequently, Tinley ordered the new equipment and had it expertly installed. The local community embraced her new classes and scheduled parties. Furthermore, they also referred friends, family, and organizations looking for a fun event to enjoy together.
